Andrew Galloway has been a dedicated member of the Rotary Club of South Bend for 26 years. Over that time, he has served on the Board on three separate occasions, bringing to each term a steady hand, institutional memory, and a genuine passion for service. One of his ongoing contributions to club meetings is managing collection of meeting contributions, which is a a role he first picked up when Sister Judith served as Sergeant-at-Arms, and one he’s continued ever since.
In his professional life, Andrew works as Building Manager and Security for the South Bend office of Barnes & Thornburg, where he helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Beyond that, Andrew is a long‑time part‑owner of LaSalle Grill, having been involved for 30 years. His love for that place is well known, whether enjoying a meal there or hosting guests.
Andrew’s devotion to Rotary runs deep: he says that being a Rotarian has given him purpose, camaraderie, and the chance to give back meaningfully to his community. Over the decades, he has seen the club evolve, grown alongside fellow Rotarians, and embraced every opportunity to serve.
When he’s not at a meeting, tending to club duties, or helping manage the building, Andrew is likely enjoying time with family, relishing a meal at LaSalle, or reflecting on the many ways Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self” continues to guide his life.
